This was an especially satisfying moment for me since I also passionatly hate the Cardinals. Miguel Tejada came up to the plate with two outs and two men on. Buster Posey was on 2nd, and Brandon Belt was at 1st. Tejada worked a full count against the Cardinals now ex-closer, Ryan Franklin. He yanked the 3-2 pitch deep into left-center, but it wasn't hit quite hard enough to get out of the park. Colby Rasmus (also an ex-Cardinal) settled under the ball for the catch- and dropped the ball, allowing both Posey and Belt to score. Giants win!!! I'm not sure which I enjoyed more: the look on Buster Posey's face when he saw Rasmus drop the ball or the look on Molina's face when Tejada hit the ball. That is pure joy, folks.
2. Brandon Crawford Hits Grand Slam for First Major-League Hit (5/27/11)
Giants fans around the world were still reeling from the shock of Buster Posey's horrific season-ending injury, and so were the players. They needed something to jolt them out of their shock, and Brandon Crawford delivered against the Brewers. He will forever be my hero.
3. Aaron Rowand and Miguel Tejada are Realeased on the Same Day (8/31/11)
This was a glorious day. Both were Bochy's favorites and both were old men who thought they could play but obviously couldn't. This news made my day.
4. Brandon Belt Hits First Career Home Run Against Dodgers (4/1/11)
I called this one ten seconds before he hit it.
5. Pablo Sandoval is a Last-Minute Selection for the All-Star Team (7/10/11)
This was great for not only Giants fans, but Pablo himself. He worked so hard to lose the weight he needed to in the offseason, only to get hurt. He came back after his injury, though, and made a huge impact. He was also snubbed in the 2009 All-Star Game, so he deserved this. *cough* Charlie Manuel *cough*
